Chillerama

From directors Adam Green(Hatchet,Hatchet 2),Tim Sullivan (Driftwood,2001 Maniacs),Adam Rifkin(The Dark Backward), & Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2: Dead End) comes a new addition to the anthology horror genre, Chillerama. Consisting of four stories, "Wadzilla", "I was a Teenage Were Bear", "The Diary Of Anne Frankenstein", & the wrap around story "Zom-B-Movie", the film relies heavily on outdated FX & shock value.. in a good way. "Wadzilla" is the first story which combines elements of Godzilla & sperm. The results are quite funny, Adam Rifkin stars in and directs this story. Next is "I Was A Teenage Werebear" by Tim Sullivan which is a musical about gay werewolves. I hate musicals so this one was doomed from the start for me. "The Diary Of Anne Frankenstein" by Adam Green follows with Joel David Moore damn near stealing the ENTIRE show. This segment and "Wadzilla" are alone worth a viewing. 'Zom-B-Movie" by Joe Lynch has some really over the top zombie action & stars Richard Riehle..need I say more? Overall I profusely enjoyed Chilerama and will most likely buy it.

With Friends Like these (Horror Anthology Series pt 6)

A little known Canadian anthology horror effort that slipped threw the cracks ended up on my doorstep a week after a long night of drinking, blacking out, and Amazon purchasing. So i sat down and had a nice little viewing of this here film. Not very good, but i still enjoyed it. The second story is probably the best.It features a man sized fungus grown from a rotten casserole. Only for the true Anthology Horror completist.

R.I.P. Jon Ritter 1948-2003

Starring the late Great John Ritter, Terror Tract is a solid anthology horror film. Some creepy stuff here. I particularly like the Granny serial killer story. A must see for Anthology horror completists. I recommend ya grab ya self some popcorn ,some 4Loko, and sit down with ya wifey and enjoy this little slice of goodness J.R. left us to enjoy.

Tibor Takacs' Mosquito Man

Better than I thought it was gonna be, Tibor Takacs does a fine job in the directors chair considering what he had to work with. Im not dissing Corin Nemec(Parker Louis cant lose was my shit homie) , but Tibor was hired to make a knock off of "The Fly", and its not that bad. I give him props for rocking practical effects with CGI.
